Overview
Flooring takeoffs usually start with square footage, but some underlayment and pourable products also need thickness-based volume.
This tool multiplies length and width by thickness to report cubic volume, useful for leveling compounds and thick-build systems.
For plank or tile counts, also compute square footage separately and apply a waste percentage recommended by the manufacturer.
Steps
Use feet for the long side.
Use feet for the short side.
Use inches for underlayment or pour depth.
