Steps
Provide the beginning time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
Input the ending time for the interval.
Turn on next-day handling when end time is earlier than start time.
Get difference in hours and minutes.
View output as decimal hours or total minutes.
Math
Duration = end time - start time (adjust +24h if overnight)
Times are converted to minutes from midnight. If end is earlier and overnight mode is active, 24 hours are added before subtraction.
