CPS Test Online — Free Click Speed Tester

Introduction

A CPS test measures clicks per second — how many times you can click (or tap, or press space) during a timed run. Rankify’s free click speed tester runs entirely in your browser: pick a mode, click the arena to start, and get average CPS, peak CPS, and a per-second chart when time ends.

Gamers often use a CPS test for Minecraft PvP practice (Kohi-style 10-second runs), while others just want a quick mouse click speed test or spacebar speed test. This page covers classic CPS timers from 1 to 100 seconds plus jitter, butterfly, drag, right-click, spacebar, mobile tap, and an unlimited click counter.

Scores stay on your device (personal bests and recent history in localStorage). There is no signup, no download, and no account — open rankify.in/cps-test and start clicking.

How to use

  1. Open rankify.in/cps-test in a modern browser (desktop or mobile).
  2. Choose a mode tab: CPS Test, Kohi, Jitter, Butterfly, Drag, Right Click, Spacebar, Mobile Tap, or Click Counter.
  3. In CPS Test mode, select a duration (1s–100s). Other modes use a fixed 10-second timer.
  4. Click, right-click, tap, or press Space on the arena — the first input starts the timer.
  5. Click as fast as you can until remaining time hits zero.
  6. Review average CPS, peak, rank tip, and the chart. Try again or share your score.

How CPS is calculated

Average CPS = total clicks ÷ test duration in seconds. Peak CPS is the highest number of clicks recorded in any single one-second window during your run — useful for seeing burst speed versus sustained pace.

Example: 85 clicks in 10 seconds = 8.5 CPS. The same total over 60 seconds would be about 1.4 CPS, so always compare scores with matching timers and modes.

All tools on this page

  • CPS Test — Classic clicks per second test with timers from 1 to 100 seconds. Best for fair comparisons and endurance (30s, 60s, 100s).
  • Kohi Click Test — 10-second Kohi-style benchmark popular for Minecraft CPS / PvP practice.
  • Jitter Click Test — 10-second jitter clicking test. Use short sessions only to protect your wrist.
  • Butterfly Click Test — Two-finger alternating click technique measured over 10 seconds.
  • Drag Click Test — 10-second drag-clicking benchmark for mice that register friction multi-clicks.
  • Right Click CPS — Right mouse button only — useful for games that depend on secondary click speed.
  • Spacebar CPS — Press space as fast as you can for 10 seconds. Pair with CPS mode for custom lengths.
  • Mobile Tap — Touch-friendly 10-second tap test for phones and tablets.
  • Click Counter — Unlimited click counter with live session CPS and reset — no timer.

Tips to improve CPS

  • Warm up with a 5–10 second CPS run before trying for a personal best.
  • For butterfly clicking, alternate two fingers smoothly; speed comes from rhythm, not force.
  • Keep jitter and drag sessions short — stop immediately if you feel hand or wrist pain.
  • Compare the same duration and mode (e.g. always Kohi 10s) when tracking improvement.
  • A stable mouse surface and consistent grip matter more than raw “trying harder.”
  • On spacebar tests, rest your thumbs lightly and press evenly instead of slamming the key.

Minecraft & gaming CPS

Many players search for a Minecraft CPS test before PvP. Higher click rates can help with block hitting and combos, but game servers also apply their own limits. Use Kohi (10s) for a familiar practice format, then check longer CPS timers so your speed holds up beyond a short burst.

Technique names you will see online — jitter, butterfly, drag — are optional. Normal clicking is enough for everyday benchmarking; advanced methods are optional practice and should never replace rest or cause pain.

FAQs

What is a CPS test?

CPS means clicks per second. A CPS test times how many clicks you register in a set window, then divides total clicks by seconds for your average score.

How do I calculate clicks per second?

CPS = total clicks ÷ duration in seconds. Rankify also shows peak CPS (your busiest one-second bucket) so you can see burst vs sustained speed.

What is a good CPS score?

Many casual users land around 4–7 CPS. Gamers often sit in the 7–14 range. Pro-level scores (14+) usually need butterfly, jitter, or drag techniques — and rest between attempts.

How do I improve my CPS?

Practice short timed runs daily, keep a relaxed grip, try butterfly rhythm if your hand allows it, and track the same mode/duration. Stretch your hands and avoid marathon jitter sessions.

What is the Kohi click test?

Kohi is a 10-second click benchmark from Minecraft PvP communities. Rankify’s Kohi tab runs exactly 10 seconds and reports average and peak CPS.

Is this a Minecraft CPS test?

Yes — many players use this page as a Minecraft click speed test. Kohi mode matches the common 10-second practice format; longer CPS timers help check consistency.

What is jitter clicking?

Jitter clicking uses fast wrist/arm vibration to raise click rate. Our jitter mode is a 10-second CPS test — use brief runs only and rest if anything hurts.

What is butterfly clicking?

Butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one mouse button. Use the Butterfly tab for a timed two-finger CPS benchmark.

What is drag clicking?

Drag clicking slides a finger across the button so the switch chatters extra clicks. Results depend heavily on mouse hardware; Rankify’s drag mode times a 10-second attempt.

How does the spacebar CPS test work?

Open Spacebar CPS and press Space as fast as you can for 10 seconds. For other lengths, use CPS Test mode and press Space if that input is selected for your setup.

Can I run a 1 second or 100 second click test?

Yes. In CPS Test mode choose 1s for a burst sprint or 60s/100s for endurance. Specialized modes stay at 10 seconds.

Does the CPS test work on mobile?

Yes. Use Mobile Tap for touch screens, or connect a mouse to a tablet/phone browser for classic click modes.

Is Rankify CPS test free?

Yes — free, no signup, no download. All modes on this page run locally in your browser.

Are my CPS scores saved?

Personal bests and recent history are stored in your browser’s localStorage until you clear site data or use Clear history.

Why do my scores differ between sites?

Browsers, OS input lag, mouse debounce, polling rate, and whether clicks count on press vs release all change results. Compare runs on the same device and page.
