How gratuity is calculated

The estimate follows the Payment of Gratuity Act pattern: (basic + DA) × 15 ÷ 26 × completed years. The default ceiling is ₹25,00,000. You can change the ceiling when your rule prints a different cap.

Central civil gratuity and some PSU rules use a different formula. If your office is not under this Act pattern, do not use this total as the payable amount.
